My Fourth of July Weekend
I spent the past two days at Lake Ontario with my cousins for The Fourth. I went to my Aunt Sharon's house to watch the parade on Friday. Me and two of my cousins, Michelle and Michael had plastic bags to collect candy tht was thrown to the side of the street from the parade. After that we spent most of our time swimming in the lake. I spent that night at Michelle's house but didn't get to see fireworks because her mom (my aunt Julie) took us home a little earlier. Yesterday, though, I went tubing and got to ride on my cousin's wave runner and Michelle, my aunt Amy and I walked down the shore looking for stuff like sea glass, sea shells, and cool rocks. I even found a swan feather and a couple of shotgun shells. In the evening we launched lanterns and our own fireworks, and the next door neighbors launched a huge fireworks display, too. My brother Morgan brought his new girlfriend, Krystal to the lake with us. There were dozens of stars out and I was hopped up on cupcakes running around with glowsticks, and eventually I crashed next to the fire. We all threw our glowstick sin the fire pit and let me tell you, It was the coolest thing ever when they melted. My family and I went home a couple minutes later. So, that's about it for my Fourth of July weekend. How was yours?
